Distinctly cooler temperatures, a strong craving for eggnog and minced pies, the taste of an aromatic pot of sangria, putting up baubles and ornaments to help decorate the tree, shopping for presents, gathering with your loved ones — Which aspect of this time of the year makes you feel the happiest?

Whether you reside in the Northern or Southern hemisphere, this most ‘favorite time of the year’ is not only a celebration and symbol of gratitude for Jesus Christ, it is also a good time for us to make amends with those we may have forgotten, look out for the vulnerable and marginalized, and lest we forget; celebrate the ups and downs of everything we have witnessed during these past 12 months.

2020 has been a tumultuous year to say the least. We have not only witnessed one of the longest and most annoying pandemics in the face of the Earth, we have also seen strange circumstances come to fruition. Shaken and stirred up, {excuse the martini pun} by governments far and wide, the world, finally seems to have lost its marbles, so to speak. Over in cyberspace, media outlets across the globe are publishing the latest headlines. Daily Google searches reveal not only an exponential number of cases, but the promise of a vaccine and therefore a hopefully, better future.

Have you, like some, been living in your sweats and pyjamas while staying indoors? Or have you, been like others, alternating between loungewear and office gear? Personally, my fashion mood board and styling tips come from a melange of sources such as cookbooks, newspaper clippings, textbooks, coffee table magazines and digital media.

Cheers and be well everyone!
