The Therapist That Never Talked Again

As the therapist glanced down at the prescribed reading list set by her lecturers and the information in the textbook, she steeled herself for the weekly onslaught of new clients. There were times when she wished Psychology wasn’t her first calling, when the parts of the heavy-laden heart could no longer withstand the burdens others carried.
